A collaborative platform created in response to COVID-19 to rally and celebrate Hong Kong’s diverse arts scene, ART Power HK officially announced on 15 June the extension of its campaign through June 2021. Seeking to amplify initiatives of locally based arts organisations, institutions and businesses, ART Power HK has engaged over 138 partners in the mere three months since it was launched in March 2020. CoBo Social is a proud supporter and partner of ART Power HK’s strive to deepen and extend the impact and spread of their message.
Since their launch in February 2020, ART Power HK has connected many an art lover with unique access to programming, content, and the latest activations from across Hong Kong’s art scene. Art amateurs and aficionados alike are encouraged to engage across their range of interactive platforms, from artist videos and talks to virtual tours and interactive workshops. Particularly in times as uncertain as the present where in-person events and travel are restricted, the ability to be able to participate digitally in such art institutions and organisations is certainly greatly appreciated, and in some cases, the only viable option.
Acting as a catalyst for positive conversation and collaboration, ART Power HK not only facilitates connections between art partners and the wider community through active cross-sharing of partner events and exhibitions, but also shines a much needed spotlight on local Hong Kong talent, from up and coming artists to more internationally recognised names.
