“A rose by any other name would smell as sweet”—Ah! What a romantic line from Shakespeare depicting Juliet’s unconditional love for her Romeo. The rose has long been the timeless symbol of love and affection, and this summer, visitors of K11 MUSEA will also receive a fresh rose… by plucking the nostrils of its gigantic nose sculpture “Rose’s Allure” now installed in the Visual Corridor next to the harbourfront! Among the multifaceted art exhibitions and happenings blooming in the cultural-retail destination’s annual art festival Art Karnival. The Greek relic-inspired nose sculpture is one of the highlights that you must not miss after a fruitful journey in K11 MUSEA.
Simply dig your hands into the nostril and pull one of the “hairs”—not too hard perhaps—and voilà! A fresh rose! Check out the latest video from K11 MUSEA to witness the exciting encounter of the installation.
Bring your loved ones to enjoy an artsy day at K11 MUSEA’s Art Karnival and upon spending HK$1,500 or more, you can redeem your rosy surprise at the redemption booth on K11 MUSEA G/F.
Don’t forget to scan the leaf of the rose to unlock a specially created “Rose Petals” for your whimsical Instragram photo moment. More details are available on K11 MUSEA website.
